The End of the Road – Poker Face Podcast Episode 22

The twenty-second episode of Poker Face was titled The End of the Road and was the final episode of the show’s second season. Charlie tries to get Alex to Beatrix Hasp before the Iguana gets to Alex. In this podcast Gerry and Iain look at the paving on the road to hell.

This week, Charlie and Alex (Patti Harrison) head for the safe house where Beatrix Hasp (Rhea Perlman) is staying ahead of giving evidence against the Five Families, despite the strong warnings of Luca (Simon Hellberg) who thinks they’re leading the Iguana to his target.

After seeming to outwit their pursuer in a truckstop set-piece, Charlie is given a rude awakening when Luca’s warnings prove prescient and her thoughts must turn to avoiding arrest for the federal crimes she’s inadvertently committed.

This episode was directed by Natasha Lyonne. The writer was Laura Deeley.
