Why did Jesus become human? In Week 2 of Decoded, we explore one of the most powerful truths in Scripture: God didn’t stay distant, He entered our world.
Jesus became human not just to model perfection, but to fix what sin broke. From Genesis to Hebrews, we see God’s plan unfold: humanity was created in His image, designed to live with purpose, honor, and authority. But when sin distorted that reflection, God’s response wasn’t to abandon us—it was to become one of us.
Hebrews 2 reveals that Jesus became human to taste death for everyone, breaking the power of sin and fear once and for all. He’s not only the better human; He’s the better Savior, the better priest, and the better sacrifice. Because of Him, you can live restored, free, and in full relationship with your Creator.
Scriptures: Genesis 1:27, Hebrews 2:6–18
