William McInnes | Ep 4

William McInnes is one of Australia’s most accomplished and versatile actors, known for his captivating performances across theatre, film, and television. With an impressive body of work that spans decades, William has earned multiple AFI and Logie nominations, including being named Australian Star of the Year in 2006.

Currently, he stars in the second season of NCIS: Sydney (Paramount+/CBS) and the third season of the acclaimed The Newsreader (ABC), where he has received numerous accolades, including a Silver Logie nomination and an ACCTA Award for Best Supporting Actor. His extensive TV credits include Total Control, Rake, Deep Water, and SeaChange, among many others.

In cinema, William’s performances in Look Both Ways and Unfinished Sky garnered widespread critical praise, earning him AFI Awards and Film Critics Circle of Australia Awards. He has also excelled on stage with memorable roles in productions like 33 Variations, Don Juan, and Pride and Prejudice.

A celebrated author, William has written thirteen books, including Worse Things Happen at Sea (co-authored with his late wife, Sarah Watt), which won the Indie Non-Fiction Book of the Year in 2012. His latest release, Yeah, Nah, was published in 2023.
