Florida Skunk Ape Slaughters BullWhen Al was 12 years old visiting his sister in southern Florida, he and his cousin found themselves caught in a multi-day encounter that still wakes him up at night. It began when both boys saw a towering Skunk Ape slowly walking alongside the house at dusk. As they crept from room to room trying to keep sight of it, the creature tracked them with unbroken, unsettling focus, watching the house through every window as if it knew exactly where the boys stood.The days that followed only grew stranger. A nearby horse farm was rocked by unexplained disturbances, powerful enough to shake the adults, and each night the ranch felt more and more like something was circling it. But the breaking point came when a bull was found brutally killed in the pasture — torn apart with a level of force no Florida predator could match.And there, at the edge of that same pasture, deep in the swamp grass, Al saw it again: the Skunk Ape standing among the cattails, motionless, watching the property as if claiming the ground it had destroyed.
