Artists are workers and Culture is Art!
The Cultural Workers Podcast is an environment where I speak with people who have committed their lives to sharing ideas and developing skills that extend beyond the performing arts and merge into our everyday lives:
chefs, astro-physicists, engineers, graphic designers, urban planners, historians...people that contribute to creating and archiving what we see around us everyday and take for granted.
My first five episodes will highlight some of my colleagues who work as performing artists.
I hope you enjoy.

The Cultural Workers Podcast
The Cultural Workers Podcast is a podcast about artists as working class citizens. This podcast is meant to identify and celebrate people who shine light in the world with their talents. Performing artists, visual artists, designers, writers, contortionists, clowns!! Without Cultural Workers there would be no repository of historical events, no photographs, no books, or social media. Without Cultural workers there would be no marketing! So why does it feel like every year funding for the Arts in America is slashed or threatened in some way? In this podcast, I can't answer why Artists or Cultural Workers aren't better supported but I can discuss what it means to be a thriving Cultural Worker and have interesting guests to share their stories of triumphs and challenges. So join me! It's going to be fun!!!
