I will consider Israel to be my brother for life. I had the honor of introducing the world to his music many years ago. In an exchange of sorts, his music and the words of wisdom he sowed into me over the years continues to feed my spirit and encourage my soul. In this interview he speaks about the New Breed sound, their purpose, the result of losing his father, his life as a black child living in a white household who grew up in a Spanish church, and more.

The One with Bishop Carlton Pearson
The Denise Hill Experience

The One with Bishop Carlton Pearson
2002, Bishop Carlton Pearson had a shift in his spiritual philosophy. He began to preach about his Gospel of Inclusion. As a result, he began to lose everything he spent decades building. February 2004, when the African American church was at the high of their frustration with him and his rhetoric, I spoke with Bishop Pearson about his perspective. The next month, he met with the College of African American Pentecostal Bishops and officially labeled a heretic. In this interview he talks about the bible, heave and hell, the love of God, and so much more.
