Greetings from Latveria! The world's leading Doctor Doom podcast returns for Episode 7! This week we tackle a multi-issue storyline, starting with Fantastic Four #57: "Enter Dr. Doom!", and continuing through Fantastic Four #58: "The Dismal Dregs of Defeat!", Fantastic Four #59: "Doomsday", and finishing with Fantastic Four #60: "The Peril and the Power!" The Silver Surfer arrives, and Doom tries to position himself to the Surfer as “...the gentlest, the most unambitious of monarchs!” (Doom being Doom, he does this so he can steal the Surfer’s power and launch his latest attack on mankind). Reed comes up with some new ways to condescend to Sue and endanger the rest of the team, and Doom has a great fight with The Thing, complete with a whole barrage of classic insults! We also see The Watcher show up once again, and once again he does…nothing, really.  We also ask the question, “Was Superman 2 a good movie?” (Bill’s review, “It’s…a movie.”), and add Jennifer Garner to our list of would-be celebrity listeners.
