I recently had the pleasure of meeting in person two of my heroes in the Longevity movement; Dr Bill Lawrence and Phil Micans, who were speakers at The World Council for Preventive, Regenerative and Anti-aging Medicine (WOCPM) in Bali in November 2024.
Dr. Lawrence is an American biogerontologist with a Jurisprudence Degree (UCLA-Law), an MS in Psychology, and a Ph.D. in Nutritional Science. For three decades, his focus has been human longevity research and interventions for optimal life and healthspan.
Dr. Lawrence has been affiliated with the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology (Russia) since 2015. He administers two Russian and American longevity clinical studies: Telomerase activation and DNA/Methylation modification. These studies use Khavinson Peptide Bioregulators, developed by Prof. Vladimir Khavinson of the St.
Petersburg Institute, to reverse human aging.
Phil Micans has qualifications from the UK and the USA in Food & Vitamin Technology, Pharmacy and Biochemistry.
He has been actively involved in preventative and regenerative medicine since the late 1980’s and has contributed to numerous books, magazines, radio, and TV shows on subjects connected to healthy aging.

This conversation delves into the realms of longevity and regenerative medicine, focusing on the role of peptide bioregulators in enhancing health and extending lifespan. We discuss the importance of telomeres and epigenetics in determining biological age, the challenges posed by conventional medicine, and the misconceptions surrounding health and longevity. Emphasizing the need for individuals to take responsibility for their health and we explore the future of health technologies. This conversation delves into the evolving landscape of health and aging, emphasizing the importance of individualized care, the role of telomeres and epigenetics in health, and the transformative potential of peptide bioregulators. We discuss the need for humility in medical professionals, the significance of gratitude, and the changing perceptions of aging. We also explore the future of anti-aging research and the importance of daily practices for maintaining vitality.
