This involves selecting the ten highest-yielding dividend stocks from its Equity Channel Index, a proprietary index analyzed for investment grade and risk. Unlike the Dogs of The Dow these stocks are not selected from dividend yields alone. High yield stocks with low investment grades are left off of the list, this gives the strategy a better probability of outperforming the market.
