God’s plan is not for you to be discouraged in times like these. Here’s what God says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope’” (Jer 29:11). “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and be constant in prayer” (Rom 12:12). It’s not an elected leader who can turn around the course of history. It’s only you and your spiritual life. You must understand and use God’s 10 problem-solving devices if you intend to live a successful Christian life. “If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small” (Prov 24:10).
