This week, I delve into the significance of accepting and allowing yourself to experience anger and distress in the face of challenging situations. The idea is to convey that there’s no pressure to always ”see the light at the end of the tunnel” or to quickly ”get over it.” In my own journey, I’ve transitioned from the expectation of getting over the loss of my mom to adopting a mindset of getting through each day without her by my side. This shift emphasizes the importance of taking things one day at a time and acknowledging the ongoing process of adapting to a new life without a loved one.
