Pania Greenaway  is the Founder and Creative Director behind PANIA Label. A Wellington local, she grew up surrounded by indigenous artists and craftspeople. These experiences and more fostered her love of design, art, artisanship, and conservation. 

Maha and Pania discuss the importance of slow fashion and adopting Māori concepts within a mainstream industry that doesn’t usually actively make space for Māori and Pasifika. Her clothing collections aim to be as zero waste as possible while also rejecting the usage of animal products. We dive into the topics of veganism, supporting local business as well as the issue of tokenism.
