The Harmony of Stories
Wildflower on Tour

I love stories that come out of conversation because they hold so many things all at once – memories, emotions, lessons, new perspectives, comic relief and so much more. They have the power to move us, to open our hearts, to connect us, to heal us. Stories offer a window into another person’s universe, and I get to see what it’s like to experience life from their eyes. They are an invitation to celebrate what makes us unique and what makes us the same. Join me as I sit down to chat with the remarkable people I meet during my travels throughout the USA.

Episode 11 - Sami in Barbourville, Kentucky | Kentucky Culture, The 1950's, Country Music, Public School, Life in Small Southern Towns

In this episode, I share my conversation with my friend Sami. He is, so far, my youngest guest on the podcast! Sami shared about what it’s like being a 13-year-old boy in Barbourville, and he educated me on Kentucky culture, baptisms, 50’s country music and trucks. We talked about public school, his grandparents, life in small southern towns and his dream of being a farmer one day. It was really good fun spending time with Sami. He’s very funny, confident and in my opinion quite wise for his age. After we recorded for the podcast, he showed me his record collection. And what was really special is that I got to listen to his favorite song “Good Night Sweetheart Goodnight”, which is not available anywhere online, as well as some songs from his grandfather’s record. That was really beautiful - to hear Sami’s grandad’s singing fill the room.

I asked Sami to pick the song of the week and he chose “Hey Good Lookin’” by Hank Williams. On YouTube, it's at https://youtu.be/bjCoKslQOEs, or you can search for it on Spotify or your favorite music player.

The End of Covid

This event is on June 20. Mark your calendars!

https://wildflower.cloud/links/

The end of covid is exactly what it sounds like. For the first time ever, we’re coming together to educate the public on a mass scale about everything that’s transpired over the past 3 years. And so much more. With 88 sessions, The End of Covid will cover everything from electron microscopy to masks. We’re going all the way back to the origins of the germ theory of disease, and touching on every so-called “pandemic” up to the present. Exposing the granular details of these concepts to the masses is the only way we can put an end to this fictional reality show once and for all. Finally, on June 20th, the show is over.

Much love to you all!
