The Harmony of Stories
Wildflower on Tour

I love stories that come out of conversation because they hold so many things all at once – memories, emotions, lessons, new perspectives, comic relief and so much more. They have the power to move us, to open our hearts, to connect us, to heal us. Stories offer a window into another person’s universe, and I get to see what it’s like to experience life from their eyes. They are an invitation to celebrate what makes us unique and what makes us the same. Join me as I sit down to chat with the remarkable people I meet during my travels throughout the USA.

Episode 4 - Chris in Woollum, Kentucky | Exploring the Wild, Hunting, Police Work, Moving to KY, Thriving After Near-Death Experiences

If you like crazy stories, you're in for a treat! In this episode, I chat with my neighbor and friend, Chris. He's a great storyteller and he had many wild tales to share! Chris is a retired police chief, bowhunter and conservationist. He tells the story of how he and his wife ended up here in Kentucky, and the incredible stories of how he survived several aneurysms and three open-heart surgeries. He shares stories of his childhood exploring the wilderness, his early working years, his time in the army and police force and many more.

Our song of the week is Resilient by Rising Appalachia. You can search for it on Spotify or your favorite music player. On YouTube, it's at https://youtu.be/tx17RvPMaQ8.

We have a giveaway this week - I am giving away a copy of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain. Contact me via Instagram, Telegram or leave a message on Spotify if you'd like to participate.
