Harvard Campus Update: Winter Housing Deadline, Innovation Launch, Asian Conference, Sports Wins & Events (Nov 10–17)
Hey Harvard University students, it's Jenny with your Campus Update for November 10 through November 17. Let's get you set for the week—fast. First up—the Winter Housing Application Round II closes on Monday, November 17 at 11:59 p.m. If you need housing during the winter recess, make sure to submit your application before the deadline. Next, the President's Innovation Challenge Launch Party is happening today, November 10, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at 125 Western Avenue. This is a great opportunity to kickstart your innovative ideas. Lastly, the Asia and Asians at Harvard Conference kicks off on Thursday, November 13, at 4 p.m. in the Belfer Case Study Room, CGIS South. It's a two-day event exploring the experiences and contributions of Asians at Harvard. Over the weekend, our men's basketball team secured an 86-75 victory against the University of New Hampshire on Sunday, November 9. The team showed strong performance, especially in the second half. Looking ahead, our men's basketball team faces Northeastern University on Tuesday, November 11, at 7 p.m. in Lavietes Pavilion. Also, don't miss the football game against the University of Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 15, at noon. It's Military Appreciation Day, so come out and support our team. The Peabody Museum is offering student-led tours on Sunday, November 16, at 11 a.m. It's a fantastic way to explore the museum's rich collections. In dining news, the Harvard Square Farmers Market is open on Sunday, November 16. It's a great spot to grab fresh produce and local treats. This week in Cambridge, expect a mix of cloudy skies and sunshine. Monday brings periods of rain, so keep an umbrella handy. Temperatures will range from the mid-30s to low 50s. It's a good idea to layer up and stay prepared for changing conditions. Your move: Apply for winter housing before the deadline on November 17. Don't wait—secure your spot now.
