This week on The Hockey News American Pipeline Podcast with Mike Stephens and Sydney Wolf:
- Starting with USHL news, Cole Eiserman set the USA Hockey National Team Development Program U-17 goal-scoring record, passing Cole Caufield. He has 55 goals now. Cole Hutson also set an NTDP U-17 record for most points by a defenseman.
- Over to the NCAA, there, again, a ton of signings. Mike and Sydney discuss players such as the Toronto Maple Leafs' Ryan Tverberg, the Boston Bruins' Trevor Kuntar, the Detroit Red Wings' Carter Mazur and more.
- Notre Dame got some good news, as Ryan Bischel and Trevor Janicke will return. Minnesota Duluth received good news as well. But it doesn't sound very good for North Dakota, who won't have any defensemen return next year.
- Logan Cooley, Matthew Knies and Adam Fantilli are your Hobey Baker hat-trick finalists. Who will win it?
- What teams made it to the Frozen Four? Mike and Sydney preview the semifinals.
- The Florida Panthers have six prospects in the NCAA right now. That includes 2021 first-round pick Mackie Samoskevich, who has 43 points in 38 games for Michigan this season, with the Frozen Four to come.
