Known not just only as a DJ but as a creative force, Sboza has spent over a decade pushing boundaries and cultivating a sound that speaks to raw, unearthed expression.
His journey began in 2011 inspired by the golden compilation era led by the likes of Vinny Da Vinci and Fistaz Mixwell. But Sboza wasn't content with just listening- he saw a gap in the Cape Town music scene and stepped up to fill it. From co-founding the event collective **Sensual Sou**l, which brought live, authentic house music experiences to places like CBD, Kraaifontein and Gugulethu . Launching his own platform **Smooth Grooves** in 2012, Sboza has been on a mission to shift the narrative.
