
I’ve been avoiding weight loss.
Avoiding chatting about it in my posts, in my LIVES, my workshops, my podcast.
Because I didn’t want to add to the noise. The nutrition & weight loss industry noise that is out there. That multi-billion-dollar industry that is essentially wanting you to try & fail with diets as that’s what keeps it all turning.
For so many many years, decades really, I listened to that noise. I paid attention. I took notes. Well, let's get really honest, I was an A-Grade student! I subscribed to all of the noise. The latest plan, pill, or celebrity on how to lose 10 kilos would come out & I was first in line to try it.
So knowing my old beliefs & stories, fear kept me quiet in my posts without actually addressing & chatting about weight loss directly.
Yet, by staying quiet, I add to the confusion. By staying quiet I let the noise still exist for you.
And so it’s time I got transparent. It’s time for me to talk about it. So I hit the record button & shared it in this week’s episode.
