Welcome to Episode 1 of The Isle of Man Vicar Podcast.
In this first episode I walk into South Barrule Plantation on the Isle of Man to see the impact of recent storms and the forestry harvesting that followed. From the road it may look like devastation, but as a plantation, much of this woodland was due for felling and renewal.
With much of the site still cordoned off, this is a shorter, reflective stroll — noticing the storm’s aftermath, the signs of change, and the reminder that new growth follows loss.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
