Five years ago, my friend Anne and I recorded an episode called Waiting for the "The One" (A Woman's Perspective). We were both single at the time, waiting for the Lord to reveal our husbands to us. Little did we know, He would lead me to Casey less than three weeks after our episode, and He led Anne to Jeff less than three months later! Our stories are testimonies to the goodness and providence of God, and we feel called to share them in order to inspire hope for those still waiting on "the one." Holy Homework: 1. Go back and listen to the first episode in this series: Waiting for "The One" (A Woman's Perspective)! https://soundcloud.com/morgan-mueller-878651563/episode-52-waiting-for-the-one-a-womans-perspective?utm_source=clipboard&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing&si=b5115881cfd549c5aa890d34717a3f5e Reflection Questions: 1. What is something you're waiting on in this season of your life? 2. Have you asked the Lord how He created your heart to love? If you've never prayed about your vocation, is He inviting you to do so? 3. Are you afraid of entering into your vocation? If so, go before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament and ask Him to show you what you're afraid of. Then ask Him to deliver you from those fears once and for all so that you can move forward in freedom. Don't be afraid to ask someone to pray with you in this! 110. When in Rome...lose your phone
Welcome to a new season of the Joy in Hope podcast! We're so happy you're here. To kick things off, we begin with a conversation about unplugging from your screens in order to encounter God and His glorious creation. Holy Homework: Watch The Secret Life of Walter Mitty and then have a conversation with someone about it! Reflection Questions: 1. What does it mean to you to be truly free? 2. Are there areas of your life where you've experienced freedom? 3. Is there an area of your life where you desire greater freedom? Sts. Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati, pray for us!
