I remember the day when my first article got published in a reputed journal. I was on cloud nine. It was really a long journey for me. I had to face many rejections before my first publication. During my MBBS, for many aspects, I wanted to be guided in a better way and publication was one aspect of it. After doing ICMR STS for two consecutive years, I felt that something was missing. It was the desire to get my first article published before starting off my residency. Never the less, I did publish my article and now I know the struggle is quite real.
