Former #1 book distributor in America, Chandrashekhara dasa (Cyril Wohrer) was born in Santa Monica and grew up between L.A and Paris. He was a brahmachari in New Dwarka (L.A), after which he travelled as the executive assistant of Bhakti Charu Swami. He was the lead-singer of the “18 Days” rock/reggae band on Indradyumna Swami’s Polish tour, and was one of the early proponents of Hridayananda Goswami’s Krishna West project. He holds a B.A from UCSB and a Masters from Oxford—both in Religious Studies. He teaches Bhakti Shastri online in French and in English, alongside his YouTube channels.
