Their free-wheeling streetwise machismo embodied Sixties Mob-run Las Vegas with a penthouse suite-style that endures in culture, fashion and music to this day. Frank Sinatra was the Rat Pack’s chairman of the board, with his inseparable friends and drinking buddies crooner Dean Martin, entertainer Sammy Davis Jr, British actor Peter Lawford, and comedian Joey Bishop, who boozed, brawled and womanised together.
