
Hi everyone and welcome to this week's episode! In this episode, we go over my not-so traditional meditation habits (as you can tell from the title). Meditation is something that has never been a regular activity that I'd implement in my life as I felt I didn't know how to make time, I didn't feel like I reaped that much benefit from it, and occasionally I would get bored or didn't know what to do with the feelings or thoughts that came up during meditation. However, I've been hearing from many psychologists and thought leaders that meditation is an extremely useful tool to cultivate peace and to create that constant reality that we can live in. This way we can more easily and actively CHOOSE peace. CHOOSE happiness.
The past 3-4 months I've been experimenting with how to find a meditative state and learning how to make that a part of my weekly routine. We begin by starting MICRO. These tools are ways that are not your typical way to meditate, but are methods that have helped me begin to create seeking meditation as a HABIT. This process will most likely evolve as I'm still discovering new ways I can make this practice something that I desire, I get excited about, and something I turn too. My life long goal is to repetitively choose micro actions that create room for discovery and to support me with my mantra of leading with love.
