Today our special guest is Dr. Michaela Hynie. Michaela is a professor of Psychology at York University. Her interdisciplinary and community-based research focuses on the social determinants of health in multiple cultural settings: with communities who experience social conflict, social exclusion, or forced displacement and migration. Michaela’s journey has moved through cognitive science, neuroscience, and cultural psychology, leading to the work she does today.
