I’m Miranda Rodriguez, marketing coach and unofficial business therapist and I’m here to liberate you from that Spanx of a marketing plan that’s got you feeling uncomfortable, restricted and gasping for air. Marketing your small business doesn’t have to be isolating or overwhelming. On this podcast I’ll teach you how to market your business with laugh-out-loud personal stories, real life client examples, and the occasional f-bomb, because let’s be honest, marketing your small business is so much more than just a “marketing problem.” Over the past 4.5 years, I’ve helped hundreds of small business owners achieve big dreams with small, strategic marketing steps. With 12 years of sales and marketing experience and a thriving life outside of my growing business, I know that there’s no such thing as a one-size-fits-all marketing plan. In my short weekly marketing episodes, I’ll teach you how to make the most of the time you have to market your business in a way that feels so natural you won’t even realize you’re marketing (+ selling). This podcast is for you if: You have 1,037 ideas for how you want to move forward but aren’t sure where to start. You’re overwhelmed with the state of your business but somehow, ready for more. You know you can no longer do this alone but you want to make sure you invest in the right coach. You’re scared but excited for that next level of growth. Not sure where to start with marketing your small business? Start by hitting play and listening to the latest episode!

Ep. 182: Giving up consistency for flexibility with Chelsie Kliese
On the fourth and final interview in the maternity leave series, Chelsie Kliese, client and friend, finally joins Miranda for a candid peek behind the scenes of how she decided when to quit her full-time job to go full-time in her business, and what her first year full-time in the biz was really like.  Going full-time in your business is an often romanticized notion, but in this conversation, Chelsie shares the good, the bad, the ugly and the unexpected.  In this episode, they discuss: Why tracking AND analyzing your numbers is so critical  The “how” behind deciding to go full-time in her business after just a couple of years The sacrifices entrepreneurs and those closest to them make, especially in the beginning  Learning to accept that failure and mistakes are part of the process  Pivoting when things don’t go as planned Chelsie Kliese started House of Ivy just over three years ago as an online home decor shop. Shortly after opening, she introduced her handmade concrete goods before pivoting to a fully handmade shop about a year and a half later. She took her business full time in April of 2023 and has been learning so much along the entire adventure of being an entrepreneur! She sells her handmade goods through her online retail shop, through her wholesale program and at in-person events.   You can connect with Chelsie below: Instagram: @houseofivy_shop Website: Www.houseofivy.shop Email: chelsie@houseofivy.shop ***** Be sure to tag us on social media to let us know you're listening!   Connect with Miranda on Instagram @marketinguninhibited Learn more about Marketing for the Uninhibited at https://marketinguninhibited.com/   Get access to the NOW WHAT?
