I’ve always found joy in celebrating other people. I have poured myself into creating beautiful experiences for those I love and respect to show them how much I love them. Yet, when the tables were turned and people were celebrating me, I always felt a guilt ridden hint of disappointment.
This all changed on my 46th birthday when I made a big decision - I was going to celebrate myself. It was a decision that changed my life. It taught me the beauty of receiving, and the beauty of desire.
I want that for you, too. For only when we truly tap into our deepest desires do we blossom into our fullest selves.
