The next Mature Medic Spotlight is with Emma Baker, a first-year medical student from the University of Bristol!

Emma has previously studied natural sciences at Exeter, had two rounds of medical school applications and worked as an HCA for a year. Emma is also a keen sportsperson who enjoys sailing and playing netball!

We talk about the value of working as an HCA, the challenges of starting the degree in a pandemic and making sure you build a life outside of medicine!
