The Mental Breakdown is HSMSE's very first podcast club where we discuss our mental health and what's on our minds. As high schoolers, we face a lot of academic and extracurricular pressure to do well. TMB is an outlet to unpack and rewind ourselves. We hope that this podcast can help anyone, not just students. Accessibility and help is something that we all deserve. We hope that this can become a safe haven for you :)

Healing Hearts: Losing to Gain

Welcome back to another episode of the TMB Podcast! We’ve talked about growing up, assessing our mental health journeys, giving advice, burnout, stress, anxiety and more. But, change is one of the biggest things that make us human. In this episode, Samuel and Laura were joined by our good friend and senior, Tann Waraloardgoson, and talked about childhood, the art of letting go, outgrowing situations, friendships, circumstances, and more! Whether it’s letting go of expectations that weigh you down, or the bittersweet nostalgia of moving on from college, we’re unpacking why change feels so scary and how to embrace it. We’re also tackling regret—those "what ifs" that keep you up at night—and how to heal, forgive yourself, and move forward without feeling like you’re losing a piece of who you are. It’s normal to wonder about the future, but also dwell on what you could have done differently. What’s important is that you are here NOW! Sometimes, you have to lose to gain! It’s hard to make adjustments especially when you’ve built a routine around what’s normal to you. If you've ever struggled with moving on, trust us, you’re not alone. We want to thank you guys for tuning in to TMB’s “Healing Hearts” Week. Stay tuned for more next month! We hope this episode makes you feel seen. Happy Valentine's Day TMB Family! Follow us at:
