In the final episode of the first season I talk to professional golfer Alice Hewson. Alice is one of the youngest and hottest prospects in women’s gold having won her first ever professional tournament, the South African Open in 2020. We talk about her journey through the amateur ranks, having to decide between a career as a golfer or swimmer and leaving her homeland and family behind to go to Clemson University in America to pursue her dreams. She talks about the importance of planning, process and maintaining emotional control when it comes to performing under pressure. She eloquently talks about the impact of expectations on performance and how she deals with that. This is a fascinating conversation with someone who is still so young yet has already achieved some fantastic things. We can all learn a lot from what she shares. Our mission is to help people develop their mental fitness so they can achieve more than they thought themselves capable of.
