How would I help someone who is struggling with issues?

This week I talk about those  who suffer from their loved ones addictions/ mental issues such as siblings, parents, close friends maybe co workers etc. Should we continue to just ignore their struggles by having normal everyday conversations with them? Or should we address them with alternatives ?  I share my experience on how I address someone who is destroying their life everyday who is a close family member.
