I am a single mom with a Ph.D in Sociology and Anthropology. I work a lot of jobs to make ends meet; like all parents, we give up everything we could have so that our children could have more opportunities in life. At the same time I am raising my 6-year old son alone since 2018 when he was about to turn 3. So I will usually talk about random things like single parenting, support from siblings, grandparents and other extended family members to build confidence in children. Most of the time just ranting about my day or sharing some methods to improve the upbringing of children in this 21st century. I try incorporating Stoicism as my way of life. I will always talk about life discovery towards a happier and more adaptable life. Maybe try listening to me and see if you can relate to my ideas?

Monkeys see, monkeys do.
This episodes explain the long-term damage parents could do to their children emotionally, mentally and physically when parents exercise corporal punishments, gaslighting, instilling fear or public shaming the child. Children today learn differently than how we did when we were children. The generation has changed, therefore our ways of parenting them must change too. Let's aim to improve ourselves for our children and for the generation to come.
