
This week Rachel teaches Ben about the early years of King Henry VIII's reign and his most fearsome queen Katherine of Aragon. We being in 1509 with the ascension of Henry VIII upon the death of his father Henry VII. We learn about the tribulations and trials leading to the marriage of Katherine and Henry following his brother Arthur's death. We will explore who Henry VIII was on a more personal level, what did he like to do, to wear, to hang out with, and how did he worship. Rachel briefly documents his war efforts in France and Spain and finally gets to what we all want to talk about, his love life. Henry VIII is most famous for his six wives and many mistresses, but are the rumours really all that accurate? Tune in and find out.
