There are a million different ways to swing a golf club. Picturesque like Rory McIlroy. Abstract like Scottie Scheffler. For most of us, there are a million and one ways to hit it terribly. Oregon’s Kiara Romero’s game is closer to Rory and Scottie, which has her thinking long term and where golf might take her. Coming off a historical year where she earned national freshman of the year, Romero followed it up with a stellar sophomore season, helping the Ducks to a conference title and earning Big Ten golfer of the year. The sky is the limit for Romero as one of the top amateurs in the world prepares to try to bring home a national title for the Ducks.
