Topic: Parental anxiety
  1.  When you’re afraid your mistakes will traumatize or produce children that are ill-prepared - God has graced our mistakes as parents. – 
    1. “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” - 2 Corinthians 12:9

  1.  Anxiety can be a trigger that we are out of alignment as our roles as parents and tiptoeing on “god” roles and boundaries 
    1. Are you a parent or a god?”
    2. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. - Philippians 4: 6-8

  1.  Are we relying on our own understanding and definition of parenting? Trying to “heal” or “undo'' generational curses in our own strength and knowledge.
    1. “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding - Proverbs 3:5
    2. “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” - Isaiah 55:8-9

  1. Leaving the kids with a sitter to have 1 on 1 time with bae 
    1. “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.” - Psalm 127:3
    2. “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” - Psalm 37:17-20
