Did we just become best friends?! We may have just met (in person) but we laughed until our bellies hurt chatting with Percy and Clary Ager, aka the Zucchini Wives!! The owners and operators of Ager Lane Flower Farm and Event Space and partners in marriage, business, and most importantly - dreaming!
From Vancouver Island to Cape Breton Island - they moved across the country to start an inclusive and intersectional flower farm and wedding venue after falling in love with Unama'ki during a visit for a friend's wedding. A few short weeks later - they were selling everything they owned and moving to the other side of the country following their dream; becoming flower farmers in Rural Nova Scotia, while centering the importance of belonging, accessibility, and inclusivity and the beauty in creating spaces for joy and connection.
Percy and Clary tell us all about their vision for Ager Lane, upcoming events on the farm, flower u-pick options (the Sunflowers are back!), and their non-profit Nectar. Community and intentionality are the foundation of Ager Lane - there are so many funny, tender, honest, and inspiring moments throughout this episode, the courage is contagious!
