Giving the keywords and information first means this can be an easy reference without needing to listen to the entire episode. Tarot Beginnings - Where did the art for these cards come from? We’ll look at the original art and history of Italy and how many symbols on the cards were commonplace and well understood at the time. The Esoteric Tarot - Looking for de Gelbin, Levi and others from the 18th century and beyond. How it was tied to Kabbalah, astrology, and other correspondences. The Rider Waite Smith Tarot - We’ll be looking at the creators of the RWS tarot, Arthur E. Waite, and Pamala Coleman Smith. Taking a look at their memberships in the Golden Dawn and how that, and their Christian beliefs, came to influence tarot's design.
