Today’s guest on the podcast is Jose Zuniga (@teachingmensfashion), serial entrepreneur, youtube star and fashion guru.
As a teenager, Jose developed a keen sense for fashion and wanted to share it with fellow men. Creating an Instagram page in 2012 with his brother, Jose started posting fashion tips on how men could dress better and be more confident. What started out as a spoof, turned into a following and also a youtube channel titled "Teaching Men's Fashion".
From there, Jose and his brother started posting videos religiously and spreading their fashion tips and life advice. After not seeing the progress that he wanted with his channel but not giving up, Jose decided to quit his job in 2016 and pursue his passion full time. Through his hard work, dedication and relentless pursuit of his vision, Jose was able to grow his channel and personal brand to about 6 million combined followers on his English and Spanish channels. On top of that, he has created 5 brands that are disrupting the fashion industry and continues to strive and climb towards his vision on a daily basis.
In today's interview, we discuss Jose's beginnings and the struggles that he had early on, how he was able to overcome those struggles and build a massive following, the routines and mindsets that allow him to thrive and much more.
