Song Sung Blue is a deeply moving love story about dreams and second chances. Based on a true story, Hugh and Kate portray the Milwaukee couple Mike and Claire Sardina, who were the legendary Neil Diamond tribute band duo known as "Lightning & Thunder.” The film is also an homage to Neil Diamond’s beloved catalogue of iconic songs. The podcast was recorded with a live audience who screened the film in New York City. The episode also features a surprise guest from Kate Hudson’s past, a Zoom surprise with viewers in Milwaukee and questions from the audience.
