Orcas were shot for sport just under 60 years ago; today we know almost every one of them personally. In this podcast I will be introducing you to the many characters who have created, developed and mutated The World of Orcas. This species has given me more joy than I know what to do with, so I plan on sharing that joy… with YOU!

Ep #13| Whale Watching as Naturalists with Tobin Sparling and Joe Peacock

Those who work as Naturalists on Whale Watches seldom get the experience to be passengers on other vessels, let alone with a crew of new mates.

Tobin and Joe both work out of Granville Island on respective whale watches, but I brought them both together twice this summer to help document the first “collaborative” events I’ve done to date.

This episode was recorded in the car on the way home from our first trip down to Anacortes to go out with Outer Island Excursions. This is technically the second of the recordings that we did, and arguably the better of the two. You can find the first part uploaded to my Patreon.
