This week I am joined by the formidable Laurens Rowles, 3x gold medal winning paralympian, queer icon and birmingham legend. She told us the story of how she woke up paralysed at 13, to becoming the sporting legend we know today. We spoke about making exercise more accessible and the different ways you can do this and how not everyone disabled person needs or wants to become a paralympian. Everything from sports, ableism and getting me rowing the summer (yes really).
