Fifty years on from his first visit to England, Rick looks back fondly on the summer of 1975, remembering not just the Ashes Tests but the whole tour from matches against the county sides to spending his days off exploring England with relatives, including visits to Derby, where his mother was born.
Blending cricket with family connections and new experiences, it was a tour full of lasting memories. Rick shares the challenges, friendships, and moments that made 1975 a year he’ll always remember.
