This was one of my favourite shows that I've played in years. The crowd was just amazing and the community that @isis-graham has created is something really special. One thing that made it extra special was my dad was in the crowd, and it was the first time he had gotten the chance to come to my shows. I'll always have that memory.

The Parkcast Volume 23 - Guest Mix: Naturalist
For this episode, I'm very happy to introduce you to a BC duo: Naturalist. I first came across them from their excellent mix series and they've quickly become some of my favourite DJs in the BC interior. Their mix is a beautiful mix of melodies and worldly influences. "We were really excited about the opportunity to do this mix because it allowed us to dive into a deeper sound than we are used to. The idea was to bring to life the joys of being in nature. We tried to dive down a new path, while still incorporating our natural sounds. Don't let their last names confuse you, these brothers are known for bringing good vibes and their fun and energetic stage presence will make you want to join the fun just as much as their music does. They each bringing a unique style to the turntables and their live sets are made up of various styles of feel good house and disco bangers that come together to create a sound they call ‘Space Disco.’ 2019 has been their breakthrough year and after winning the Kootenay Music Awards ‘Artist Of The Year’ they shared their sound to the largest crowd they have ever played for at The Living Room Stage at Shambhala. The future looks bright for these boys, and they are ready to run with it.
