One of the major reasons responsible for the endangerment of some languages in Nigeria is that of dominance. The ‘bigger’ languages dominate and suppress the ‘smaller’ ones into extinction. On this episode, we try to point out that up North, there are more languages than your fingers and toes and count. Hausa is just one out of many. Happy learning.
