He has been grappling for 29 years and has 15 years of Jiu Jitsu experience. His grappling journey started at 6 years old and continued into college wrestling where he qualified for Nationals. His sights were set on Jiu Jitsu and moved to Denver in 2008 with the intention of becoming a black belt. With intense training and determination he received his black belt in 2013. He has trained a range of athletes from amateurs and children to the highest caliber of UFC fighters. Scott is constantly evolving his teaching and coaching skills. His coach, Neil Melanson, is one of the most sought after MMA and grappling coaches with a long history of coaching UFC champions. Scotts expertise is teaching and coaching Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu. He focuses on a style that is self-defense oriented but also sport friendly.
