Episode 6 - Catering for Sensory Needs in PE (with Chloe Dew)
It is often said we can have a spread of 7 years of developmental, emotional and intellectual needs in one classroom. So how can we create a SAFE space for all learners, from all backgrounds, with differing needs?  Physical Education can often be over-stimulating, noisy, busy, confusing and confronting for many individuals and it is important that we understand the triggers but more importantly have the strategies and practices to ensure that our students feel safe and can learn according to their needs.   Chloe Dew (@3dPhysEd) joins me to discuss her passion - catering for sensory and special needs in PhysEd. Chloe offers a range of inspirational strategies along with humble and empathetic approaches to assist you in creating a safe and engaging learning environment for ALL students.   Get in contact and follow Chloe on: Twitter: @3DPhysEd  ACHPER Victoria Virtual Conference October 20-22nd REGISTER HERE: https://achper.vic.edu.au/public/pl/Virtual%20Conference.aspx
