BREAKING: The Post-Gazette announced today that it will cease operations on May 3, 2026. A sad day for many in the local media. The guys reflected on their time reading the PG, or even instances where they were employed there. What does it mean for the future of local coverage? We also continued reacting to the John Harbaugh news, as the Ravens fired him yesterday following the loss to the Steelers.
More thoughts on the potential fallout from the PG ceasing operations later this year. What does it mean about the future of local media?
Former MLB pitcher Matt Clement joined the show. Matt, a Butler native, told the guys he remembers some old clippings from the PG way back when he was a high school baseball player and even when he got into the professional level. The guys asked Matt about the Pirates off-season and he gave them a B grade so far, but hopes there is more before we reach the season. Matt suggested a couple trades they could make to fill the 3B void if they can’t land a free agent like Eugenio Suarez.
