Ep. 5 The Power of Good: Save our Wild Isles - the Business of Nature film series
The Power of Good, our new podcast series explores social value in its many forms - how it's created, why it's important and the sheer power of giving back to our communities and our planet. Hosted by Legal Director, Anna Phillips & Senior Associate, Marina Leigh, this podcast is for anyone who is interested on the impact positive actions can have on the world around us and the people within it. Through discussing pivotal issues and listening to heart-warming stories, our new series will highlight how the power of good should always be valued.   What's in this episode? In the fifth episode of the series, our experts discuss how the National Trust, World Wildlife Fund and Royal Society for the Protection of Birds came together to create the Save our Wild Isles: Business of Nature film series. The UK is globally important for nature, but is currently in the bottom 10% for biodiversity globally. The Save our Wild Isles campaign is calling for an immediate end to the destruction of UK nature and urgent action for its recovery. Anna & Marina are joined by Rhiannon Shah, Business Communications Lead at WWF, Vanessa Targett, Programme Manager at the National Trust and Kim Dunn, Senior Policy Officer at the RSPB to discuss: How did the National Trust, World Wildlife Fund and Royal Society for the Protection of Birds come to collaborate on the making of the Business of Nature film series? Why we all need to act now to protect biodiversity in the UK and some examples of actions businesses can take.
