The title says it all! With Resident Evil 9 still someways off, we take this unusually lenghty gap between announcements from Capcom (in fact we think it's the longest in the 30 years of the series) to delve into the possibilities of what is next to come for our favourite horror franchise. Such has been the gap, we have not really done a podcast like this since the pilot and together with comments from our patreons, we examine what could be next both out of universe and from a lore perspective. Yes, this means a re-examination of that REmake train and discussion of the future of spin offs (if any). We have multiple hopes from the fans on what they want to see next too from the lore perspective - a continuation of the Hound Wolf Squad story, more Mia Winters, or perhaps even a prequel with George Trevor - no prizes for guessing which team member that came from!
