What a time to be alive. The Ranfurly Shield is Southland's for the first time since 2011. We look back at a Stags' performance for the ages to lift the log of wood in Waikato on Sunday night and hear from Stags' coaches James Wilson and Scott Eade who have both now been involved in Southland Shield victories as players and coaches.
We also hear from a man who epitomises what it is to be a Stags Fan, Michael "Tinners" Stuart who was right in the thick on the action at the conclusion of Sunday's historic win.
Before then, Logan, Nathan and Nick wax lyrically about the Stags, review Southland Boys High third-placed finish at the national 1st XV Top 4, look at another week of player announcements from the Southern Steel and at the start of the Southland Rams rugby league season.
